Do you want to be part of something great? Something amazing? Somewhere that a lot of other hospitality venues have not ventured to before… Welcome to The Shellharbour Club situated on the beautiful South Coast of NSW.
Since our humble beginnings, when we commenced trading in 1956, we have continued to differentiate ourselves from our competitors in order to achieve optimal community value.
Our new 20 year Estate Plan has recently been approved and it has never been a better time to join our team as we intend to partner with additional businesses to become the ultimate leisure destination.
We provide a range of hospitality related services with modern facilities, in-conjunction with state-of-the art equipment and four fantastic food outlets which will continue to grow, we are ever expanding to meet the needs of our members and the greater community.
Our team of exceptional staff work in the areas of Management, administrative positions, food and beverage, customer service, promotions, gaming, cellar, maintenance and the kitchen. To keep ahead in our industry, we need exceptional people - people with talent, a strong spirit, a motivation to provide extraordinary customer service and deliver quality products. We only hire committed employees to work with a dynamic Management team who think outside the square.
Our people reflect our positive work environment and team spirit. We provide professional training and development to ensure employees stay focused and inspired. We also understand that creating opportunities is an imperative part of our business; therefore staff have access to internal transfers and promotions.
Our vision is "to enable the community to reach its highest potential" and one of the ways we do this is through our contributions to the local community, donating over $280,000 in funding each year to local community and sporting groups. This funding enables these groups to provide much needed support and services to the local community. Some of the programs and services we have funded include; Healthy Breakfast Programs at local schools, telephone counselling services, financial support for blood cancer patients and sporting equipment for a number of local junior and senior sporting teams.
We have a strong employee base of 130+ productive and loyal staff who serve close to 530,000 people each year and we are still growing. Some of the many rewards our team members enjoy include structured training programs, food and beverage entitlements /discounts and being part of our tiered employee recognition program that rewards staff for tenure, providing exceptional service, up-selling and demonstrating superior on-the-job performance.
Do you want to be part of the journey that creates vital opportunities for our community? We welcome your application for a suitable position today.
